Social networks for e-learning

I am enthusing about the potential of social networking for e-learning. I dream of a institution where students are organized in a social network, where teachers from different countries introduce abroad students to the class, and teaching and tutoring of modules is a shared experience. I want my students to take classes abroad, being at home, and I want to attract foreign students to my classes. I want to delude the teacher role and the student role, and keep in touch with my colleagues, former teachers, pupils and coworkers, organized by discipline and availability, and I want to enjoy and offer a multifaceted approach to relevant issues or topics.
